One Truth, One Hate
The town of Snoqualmie lies under a dark shadow.
A month ago, a terrible event behind Snoqualmie Falls caused a gaping and festering wound in Hisil. The local pack, called the Ice Lords, were destroyed and their powerful leader, Speaks with Fire, betrayed and killed by her own kin (possessed by the spirit Coyote).
Two Forsaken have returned to the region to start a new pack and heal the wound in the Shadow Realm. Calm in the Storm and Rides the Aether are attempting to establish themselves and send out a call for those like-minded to aid them in their endeavours.
Already freshly arrived to town is Rianne Smith, a new member of the Sheriff’s department. She seeks to also heal the town by working with the local spirits to help cleanse the taint. However, at her first day of work she came across Joanne Waters, a work colleague and newly turned Forsaken fresh from a frenzied kill.
It did not take too long for the Uratha in the town to scent each other as they began the tentative steps of creating a new pack. Joanne began her education into what it meant to be a werewolf whilst Rianne and Calm in the Storm started circling each other regarding pack alpha.
There was another werewolf in town however. Locals were being killed ritualistically by a huge beast who the group believed to be a member of the Pure. As the group began tracking down this killer, a spanner was thrown into the works with the arrival of a group of hunters, masquerading as FBI agents. The hunters quickly identified the newly arrived Forsaken and the group members found themselves being tailed whilst they in turn hunted the Pure. In addition, an old enemy called Coyote, taunted their efforts and tried to sow discord amongst the group.
Their investigation into the killings revealed that the victims were all old school friends of Joanne. Photos on her phone showed a recent camping trip that she had no memory of. One by one, the six people that went on that camping trip were having their hearts ripped out. However, finding information about the campsite was proving difficult and the Hunters were closing in.
After a couple of days of waiting and seeing, Rides the Aether received a text message from the Wolf-Blooded that accompanied the group, Jessica Dane, which simply said “Dead Dog Farm.” The Hunters had kidnapped one of their own and were luring them into a trap. Gearing up, the group were eager to finally meet their enemy face to face and get their claws dirty.
